I bought these shoes as an alternative to sandals for warm weather. They are very easy to put on and the top has a little stretch to help with that. They are very light and have excellent breathability. I think they would be good for summer hiking when sandals are not indicated or appropriate. The only thing I would have wished for differently is that I would happily choose a different color. The creamy yellow is a little rough and flashy, but maybe I can get them dirty.
