Review on V MODA M 200 Professional Studio Headphone by Shannon Young

M-200 for gaming purposes, because I like a more detailed sound and not just an inflated base. When I first put them on, I was amazed at the accuracy of the soundscape. Unfortunately my ears start to hurt after 2-3 hours of wearing these headphones, I have red spots on my ears from scratching the fabric on the inside of the speaker. The pillows lack depth. Unlike other V-MODA headphones and the rest of the line, the M-200 doesn't have interchangeable XL earpads and uses a patented magnetic headphone cup that nobody else makes. This means that if you buy 200 and they aren't comfortable for you, you're out of luck. That being said, I bought a pair of M-100 Masters with XL pads because I think the sound is still worth trying. I would return them but plan to wait until they offer replacement pads and then give them away.
