Review on Altura Photo AP-305S Camera Flash and Wireless Manual Trigger for Sony A7 Series, A6600, A6500, A6400, A6300, A6000, A9 - 2.4GHz TTL Speedlite for Mirrorless Cameras by Amanda Smith

These flashes are a really great addition to a Sony system at an affordable price. The blocks are compact and full of great features. My only two complaints are that the units are small enough, many of the universal flash gel tips/tapes are too big for them, and the somewhat long loading times. I just use a traditional rubber band to attach the flash gels and it works great. Loading time is good, but slightly slower at maximum power. At 1/1 power, the reload time is around 15 seconds, at 1/2 power around 6 seconds, and at 1/4 power, a few seconds when firing consecutively (instantaneous reload with only a few shots). At 1/8, the reload time becomes pretty fast. At a shutter speed of 1/32 I can get about 13 shots before it takes a few seconds to charge. I have four of these flashes and as an avid photographer I am very satisfied.
