I understand my experience is not the same as most people's but others have experienced this issue so be careful! Panic in the YouTube group. I applied paint, put on a shower cap, and then just went about my housework, cleaned up, and watched TV. I left it for a few hours as recommended. And then washed away. The color is beautiful. This is the prettiest, brightest red. The problem is that the first wash (in cold water with a sulfate-free shampoo) almost completely washed it out. After the second wash it was almost gone. I only wash once a week so it's been two weeks of beautiful color. I'll probably try again, but I think the problem might be that my hair's cuticle doesn't hold that particular mark well. It was definitely worth it and the brand isn't super expensive. And several Facebook groups tell me that it's not just for me, but that some people have this color for months, so would I suggest trying it out? My hair is incredibly soft after using it so at least it's in good condition!
