I had a metallic hit on the front of my 70's Skylark. I wanted to lower the front 2 inches and felt like the isolators weren't installed or were worn out. Of course not, so I bought them. They didn't fit exactly how I wanted, but they work. Definitely isolated the springs from the levers. I ended up putting 2 on each feather, top and bottom. I'm so stupid.
