Looks like Dorman made some changes to this part that appear to be a design improvement. They provided multiple relief cutouts to allow the manifold to flex easily without the disastrous effects of dissimilar metal cycling. (Someone at GM has to sew the legs for this little designer gem. See photo.). Only time will tell if this helps improve bounce rate, but I think it's a good game. AN IMPORTANT CLUE! I installed this on a 2007 6.0L 2500 Silverado. The exhaust donut wasn't big enough. I had to take everything apart and get an OEM donut from a local dealer to seal the flare. Don't even try.
