See my review for a size comparison.

Good overall. I took photos because I think the most important thing parents should know is the size of the design. So the first picture uses all but a ball and three poles and my 7/8 9 year old boy sitting in it plus a straight view with a middle interior door for comparison. The second is my 9 year old and his 11 year old brother, size 8/10 stuffed together with a queen sheet that barely covers about 8 inches exposed at the bottom of one end. Both children can sit there together, but quite tight. A child can sit comfortably surrounded by toys, as my eldest son who has autism likes to do. He can also lie down by pulling his knees up. This is the basic design. 48"W x 33"H x 33"D with 15"W x 33"H inlet. Once inserted into the connecting balls, the rods are approximately 14" long. There are 54 of them and 31 bullets if you want. to keep My two older children are comfortable. I will take the second set which my son assembled in minutes. It's very easy to use so it doesn't fall apart when you walk.) A small complaint is that the bars slide out pretty easily, they're really quite stable, but if you try to move them a little or hit them the jump Rod out somewhere really doesn't matter much and if it were safer it would be harder to assemble and disassemble for small children but thought I'd make a note of it. Instead of a blanket I just used a sheet because it didn't want to load it's too much weight. In the 3rd photo you can see the box was completely damaged, torn, swollen and obviously opened and taped, but all parts were present and in good condition. There are no problems with the content at all. I also appreciate the sinch bag that came with the storage kit. My 11 year old son has autism and sensory processing disorder so he loves things like tents and forts where he can create his own little space within a room and also feel enclosed. And my 9-year-old son, a gifted student, is always building something with what he finds around the house. It was so great to have them play together (which can be difficult for them) and have forts without taking up all my seats and beds. Overall we're very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and it's supposed to be so I'm happy with the purchase. The boys are excited and so am I, because now I can use my sofas and chairs to sit properly again. I hope my review will help other parents evaluate if this size is right for their needs. :) For more freedom of design, I would take a larger set with 120 pieces. or 2 sentences. Many thanks to the manufacturer for an item that is actually what it claims to be. Edit: Update after a few weeks of play - I still like the set but wish it was a little more solid. I realize it would be difficult to design something that small, weak hands could easily manipulate and still remain relatively fixed when hit, but that would be ideal. As it turned out, it is easy to assemble, but also easy to disassemble. The bars are constantly slipping somewhere, even if the structure is simply untouched. It's annoyingly imperfect, but we haven't had a crash yet or anything, and we have 2 kits, so we've got some pretty massive builds. Overall we're very happy with it, but it would be a really great toy if it was easy for little hands to use AND could stay in place if you want it to.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
