For me, using a digital scale has been my way of preparing recipes for over 7 or 8 years. Although I've only used this scale a couple of times, I can tell you that it didn't live up to expectations. Inaccuracies of up to half a gram can be overlooked. However, the PROBLEM and REASON I would not recommend this scale is very simple. Slow Response Time: When weighing the ingredients for a recipe, it's easy to exceed the desired amount as it takes a full second to register the weight. .and it's a pain. It seems well made, and it still seems accurate, but once you add a few ingredients and find you're over the target because it's slow to register, you can't "take back" the excess.
