I was a little hesitant at first, worried that a non-"waterproof" case would hold up. I've used this case on a few runs and although the side of the case got wet I had no issues with my phone working on my runs. I ran in wet and light rain with no problems. Haven't tested it in heavy rain yet. I took my phone out of the case for everyday use and the touchscreen works great through the plastic. I'm male, and I should point out that my biceps aren't particularly small (I have pretty good pistols by runner's standards), but even so, the velcro wouldn't have enough overlap to work properly if my arms were around 1/. 2 cm less circumference. There's no chance this thing will fit on someone's forearm unless they're built like Popeye.
