This is probably being removed because it caused a "sensitivity filter" like some other negative reviews I left, but here it is: I got it Bought to replace some sort of spine pin that has been lost or torn off parts of mine and parts of my colleagues' uniforms. I was glad the kit included spring-loaded backplates that engage a piston mechanism, which seems to work best for me. Unfortunately, half of the ones we've tested so far have been defective; Either you couldn't pull the plunger back out, it didn't grab the pin, or it wouldn't disengage after it was on the pin. In this case you had to use pliers to pry it out. Very frustrating.
