We usually try to keep a box of baking soda in the fridge, but remembering to buy it and change it every month is another matter. It looked like a good alternative to that, so I figured why not try it. After charging the device and running it in deep cleaning mode for 72 hours, I noticed the smell of detergent when I opened the door. I then charged it again and it is now on 30 day maintenance mode. If I think about taking it out and charging it, I'm fairly certain it will work and help eliminate odors. There's no noticeable fan blowing air, but if you keep it close you can smell the ozone, so it's probably a little more active than the baking soda. Time will tell but for now it seems to be working and looking fine in the fridge.
