These pants are just what I needed for hiking on warm sunny days! They are airy and light so I don't get too hot but protect my feet from the sun which is important for me as I get sunburnt easily. The two side pockets are deep and easily fit my phone (iPhone XR). For reference, I'm about 5 feet 11 inches and about 160 pounds. I ordered men's size medium and the length is perfect. The waist is about 32 inches and it fits well, a little tight but comfortable (I don't need to tighten the drawstring to wear pants). I usually wear shorts or jeans with a 32-33" waist.
