disposable item. Can't get replacement filters

The unit showed up and I went through the instructions and it seemed to work. Quiet on low settings, quite loud on high. for work. It doesn't take up much space. The main reason for the rating is that you don't get replacement filters. This brand has no website, no support phone number and nothing in the manual. Email address and they confirmed that the filters are "custom" and a filter life of 3000 hours (125 continuous days; 4 months) should be enough for a 1 year warranty. So after 3000 hours you have to throw away this device and buy something else. or at least I would buy something else with filters that I could replace and use the real device for a couple of years.
