It's possible that most of my problems are related to the sensor or due to my inexperience with this type of sensor. I have been involved with electronics for several years and am currently in college pursuing an electrical engineering degree. I couldn't get the sensor to work when I searched online for help, SMAKN had nothing to offer. I spent about two weeks browsing blogs, forums, and YouTube tutorials but tried unsuccessfully to get the sensor working with my Arduino Uno. I ended up buying another color sensor that I came across in a YouTube tutorial while trying to get it working.
