Change formula? I'm not sure if they have changed (see the second paragraph), but earlier in the advertisement "Novamin" sounded clearer. Why does it matter? I think the formula dilutes the exact ingredient I wanted to include - Novamin. The pasta isn't bad (hence the 4 stars) but didn't recover as much as the previous order. Then the difference was noticeable. Well, that's very subtle, if anything. I'm assuming this is a good sensitivity paste, but an American product would do the same. I will most likely return to Appagard although it is more expensive it gives better results than even the previous version of this paste. Receding gums require a little more action to prevent uncomfortable procedures. Hope this helps anyone with the same tooth condition. For reference, and please note that I am not a scientist. This version is missing: cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium methyl cocoyltaurate, sodium fluoride (simplified). It also says sodium monofluorophosphate, 1.08% 1450 ppm. The previous version specified a sodium fluoride content of 0.3152% by weight (1450 ppm fluoride). So, as a layman, I think that the difference in the ingredients or the amount of ingredients has reduced the benefits of the paste, making it equivalent to the toothpaste that we can already buy at any pharmacy or grocery store.
