I used toothed ball clips and a metal clip with my first child. The metal rusted over time and the bullets could dislodge once strong enough, creating a choking hazard. I bought these clips for my second child and they are much better. They are lightweight so my newborn can use them without stretching out his pinky. The clip is made of plastic and will not rust, the balls cannot fall off. And they are really quite neutral colors and look very high quality. The four bags are great, we leave one attached to her car seat, one to her baby carrier and another to her clothes. Exactly what I was looking for!
