Review on HP 25 Inch Wide Screen Monitor - 2509M (Model: NT195AA#ABA) by Benjamin Nelson

I've been looking for a large widescreen computer monitor for months looking at brands from Samsung to LG to HP and I'm very happy to say this is one of the best electronics purchases I've ever made. The screen is huge with an elegant design. Text is crisp - this is very important to me as I edit a lot of documents and I really like having two or even three open windows and free space. And the picture is fantastic! It displays brilliant, crisp, vibrant colors that are very rich and saturated, right out of the box. On the one hand, I like the "Bright View" technology that makes this possible. The glossy finish is nice and doesn't bother me at all. To see what it looked like before ordering I looked at the smaller HP models in the store and found that there was no comparison to other monitor brands, they are just great. The photos are gorgeous and I know I will be spending a lot of time just looking at the slideshow now - stunning! A note for those of you who are considering purchasing this monitor, please do not hesitate. I've seen in some stores that HP has just started offering some monitors without the glossy "Bright View" technology and I have to say that they look very flat, boring and ugly in comparison. I don't know if HP also offers a matte finish in addition to the glossy one, or if they are replacing it, but I intend to call the company and find out, and I certainly hope they continue to release it with a glossy screen. -- It looks as good or even better than the new LED screens. I also hope this monitor lasts for many years because I definitely wouldn't want any other. And the installation was "plug and play" and so easy. Do not be shy! Highly recommended!
