This item is perfect for my 2000 Jeep Wrangler SE 2.5L. Many reviews say that there is a rubbing noise after installation, which then disappears after wearing, but this is not the case. Maybe there is a difference in the compressors between the 99-2001 and 2003-2006 models? But this one worked perfectly. This solves the problem when you keep swapping out fan switches and they keep failing at different speeds after a few months. I would 100% recommend. But we'll have to see how long it lasts.
