Camera: Need a VISUAL deterrent? that's it, stop looking. This was simply installed on old siding under the gutters when looking straight down the driveway, next to the headlight, and from that distance it looks 100% authentic (bad photo attached but you get the idea). Nicely packaged with a paper screw guide and both look LIKE the cameras, that we have at work that my boss keeps looking at, and they *have* a light. Pop in some Energizer batteries and he's off to the races. Red Light: After reading all the reviews - and I mean all - I was very concerned that flashing red lights are a "short sale" for criminals. But here's the thing, during the day the red light is almost invisible and it depends on the angle. And when you're that close, it definitely reads like movement. From a distance, a small red flasher appears to follow you at night, flashing, waiting and then turning off. I personally think this is one of the biggest features that makes it authentic. My work cams are green, so light is one thing, folks. I didn't put any fake strings or decals or signs or add ons, that others have mentioned, it's overkill for me, but it depends on your situation. Conclusion: highly recommended! I have bought several Wyze cameras (love!) and use them in combination with these dummy cameras to feel completely safe in and around my home.
