First off, let me say that I didn't expect any noticeable sound improvement. I got a lot of hum from my tube amps when using OEM power cords. The hum was so bad that I ordered an expensive power supply to test to fix the problem. Those power cords arrived first, so I installed them straight away and turned on the amps. Hum has been reduced by at least 75%; I did not expect this. I assumed the hum was in front of the Romex in the wall or the utility. When I started listening to music after the lamps had warmed up, there was more clarity and my soundstage improved a lot. I was immediately surprised by the improvements. By far the best value in my system updates.
