Let's start by saying that the "playmat" isn't that big. I should have checked the measurements instead of just reading the reviews. My main problem with this so-called playmat is that it is DANGEROUS. The carpet has a good fit, however the lining and lining are not sewn. So if you walk on it, you will SLIP. This can also cause your child to slip and fall. Due to the fact that the lining and the lining are not connected to each other, the mat becomes very clumped. My child could not crawl freely on this play mat without rolling terribly. Not sure why some people use it as a rug as many times I have literally slipped on a small rug just by walking along the edge. It doesn't make a good mat or a good playmat in my opinion. I wish it was better quality as it costs over $30. But it's super cute. Maybe that's the only thing he has.
