Description of Gray Love To Dream Swaddle UP for Small Babies (8-13 lbs) - Improve Sleep Dramatically with Arms Up Position for Self-Soothing, Snug Fit Calming Startle Reflex

Cotton. Imported. 💙Swaddling has been around for ages as it helps to prevent the startle reflex. But forcing the baby’s arms to their sides or over their chest prevents two natural behaviors that frustrate the baby and they fight to get their hands free. 💙First - Over 90% of babies sleep with their ARMS UP around their head when placed on their back to sleep. This is simply a baby’s natural and preferred way to sleep, just like in the womb!. 💙Second - All babies are born with the need to SELF-SOOTHE by touching their face and sucking on their hands as they did in the womb. This medically proven behavior is how a baby calms and falls asleep on their own. Traditional swaddling prevents this. 💙The patented wings on the Swaddle UP allow the baby to both sleep with their arms in their preferred ARMS UP position and gives enough movement so they can SELF-SOOTHE, all while calming down the startle reflex. 💙The snug fit from our 4-way stretch fabric of 93% Cotton and 7% Elastane creates a familiar and secure feeling just like in the womb to calm the Moro (startle) reflex. Does not contain flame retardants or any harmful chemicals. 1.0 TOG is perfect for any season!.

The perfect diaper!

My buddy is only 4 days old but he already knows what he likes and that's it! He likes being wrapped, but he needs free hands. This diaper is PERFECT because it gives his hands some freedom, but we don't need mittens to cover his little fingers. Now it only weighs 6 pounds and the small size is perfect. I hesitated to spend money on it but we couldn't be happier. If your little one likes to be swaddled, I highly recommend it. It's that quick and easy. 10/10

Not suitable for children with reflux!

Waste of money. Nothing special. You won't notice the difference between this diaper and other diapers as long as sleep lasts. Terrible for children with reflux! My child's hands are constantly wet from spitting. When she's sleeping and turning her head to burp, it hits her arms and hands directly while they're tied up. I can't put a bib on her because her hands are in the way. In addition, the material is very thin. It's like a jersey material. I don't know why the price is so high. divorce in

UPDATED: Didn't work long

UPDATE: This diaper only worked for my son for a few weeks, he fell asleep again after 2-3 hours so I just stopped using it. Good diaper but not for my baby. After reading so many positive reviews about this product and looking at various diapers that claim to help babies sleep, I finally gave in and bought these. Do yourself a favor and get it too! Previously my newborn would go to bed after midnight and sleep MAYBE 3 hours and then 2 hours and every hour and so on. Now on day 4, in addition…

My sister in law recommended this when she saw our baby was.

My sister-in-law recommended this model when she saw our child pull his hands out of the hospital sheets to bring them to his face. We already had a few regular diapers waiting for us at home, but this one quickly became everyone's favourite. The zipper is more convenient than the Velcro on the Summer Infant, and the second zipper at the bottom is great for checking the diaper without having to open it all the way. She loves, loves, loves to raise her hands and suck it through, yes it's a bit…

Worked for my Gasbaby

At first we used a traditional swaddle blanket (with velcro) to help our newborn sleep and it worked great but at 3 weeks old our son was having trouble sleeping due to gas. The traditional swaddling was too much pressure on his stomach to keep him awake. The discomfort from the gas will cause him to "fight" to get rid of the velcro. After a few nights where the baby only slept 30 minutes to 1 hour, we tried the Love of Dreams swaddle. It works wonders! Baby can move his arms freely but not…

only diapers for us

Our baby was able to get out of the diaper (yes, incl. Velcro fastener) from birth. We couldn't keep him swaddled and his movements would wake him up. We ordered this from Australia on the recommendation of a friend and we loved it. Our son slept in it until he was 4 months old when we got the 50/50 Lite version and upgraded him to a sleeping bag. This swaddling was successful for us because 1) our son was still able to suck his hands, rub his face, and perform other soothing activities that he

Our Baby's Favorite Diaper

Before making this diaper, we tried muslin wraps, Halo and SwaddleMe. When our son was about 2 months old (converted to 1 month), we tried swaddling. The biggest issues we had were: 1. The wrapping process gave him energy and 2. He was struggling to free his hands instead of falling asleep. This winding solved both of these problems. It's so easy and quick to close so he doesn't get frustrated and upset. And since he can suck on it with his hand (through the cloth), he doesn't try to get out of

Sleep has improved significantly!

I want to give this product 10 stars. We noticed immediately in the hospital how swaddling calms our daughter. However, by the time we got her home from the hospital, she was quite strong and could break out of any wrap we wrapped her in. Also, the birth exam revealed a low chance of hip dysplasia, so I didn't want to wrap my legs straight. Then we discovered the Dream Love Swaddle, which not only swaddled her easily and securely, but also allowed her legs to move naturally. From the first…
