Lightweight, good grip, no slipping, plenty of room for toes. We use socks and he hasn't even worn them a couple of times - the shoes fit him perfectly. Just slip them on and off and they'll stay put on all playgrounds - rubber floors, chips, slides, etc. Good buy!
