I made a nice dish out of carrots and had to peel them by hand. I broke the peeler and it took about 20 minutes, each piece came out a different size. So I started looking for something better. I found cheaper ones and almost died. But I looked at the reviews on the website and they weren't good. I said damn I spent too much and I'm so glad I did. I'm in love. A lot of other brands have complained about carrots being so tough that this little guy makes them with no problem. I also recently made mashed potatoes, added some powdered cheese and popped into the pan - so good. And it took me less than 3 minutes to cut 8+ potatoes. It comes with so many options and the slicer is color coded so you know what goes where which is great for those of us who are confused and hate reading instructions. The best of all time is the cleaning! I can cut anything and wash this baby much quicker than if I did the same job without him. I really appreciate how well they put effort into making it easy to maintain. Many items are so difficult to clean that you don't even want to use them. Simply remove the parts and wash them - very quickly. A great way to get kids to eat more veggies is with spirals and grooves. Can't wait to try more ideas!
