Advantages (compared to OEM): - Less dust - Less noise - Excellent everyday use in higher driving conditions - not for mountains/gorges or spirited driving (perhaps high performance riding) I've heard a lot of good things about these pads. They are great for everyday use. No real complaints other than the initial bite from the OEM pad. Technically, they didn't stand up to my weekend trips on mountain roads. The OEM pads held up like champions while fading and welding after one pass. If I can, I go to Mount Palomar (scenic route) on weekends. I'm going back to the original pads and this will be my next purchase. I can handle the extra dust with a monthly car wash pass. My car only has 6,000 miles (2019 FiST). Conclusion: If you ride hard or ride at high speeds I would NOT go for these and go for something a little more aggressive or original pads. I've heard ceramic (yellow) might be a better replacement for standard pads.
