. I took this one after the native keyboard for the iPad died. While this is a learning device with some great features, it suffers from design flaws that make me wish I'd never bought one. Pros: This device comes with front and back covers for your iPad. The touchpad is phenomenal and the backlit keyboard is incredibly easy to type on. It's definitely the quality I've come to expect from Logitech. Cons: It's bulky and heavy. After the Apple Smart Keyboard, I was blown away by how bulky it is. My Smart Keyboard with case was less than half the thickness of this keyboard. Also, it feels like it doubles the weight compared to the Smart Keyboard. It's not comfortable. If I want to use the iPad as a tablet, I have to completely remove the keyboard and install it somewhere. In most cases, this meant that I left the keyboard somewhere around the house and it wasn't there when I needed it. Being somewhere in public meant finding a safe place for the keyboard. I will never buy a keyboard again that doesn't fold behind the iPad. The state is terrible. This is not intended for lap use. Part of the stand will not want to stay upright unless placed on a hard surface, severely limiting its functionality. It's expensive because it's so poorly designed. You pay a high price for something that makes your iPad heavier and more uncomfortable. All in all I sold it after 4 months of use and went back to the Apple Smart Keyboard. It felt like my iPad was fully functional again. I miss the trackpad, but the compromise was worth the return. I cannot recommend this product.
