Nylon braided accessory cables like this make for a high performance mic that beats just about anything I could say, good or bad. (If you can't hear the music, what's the point?) Definitely not worth buying. It is better to overpay for the headphone manufacturer's original cable. The Sennheiser 5 series (including MOMENTUM and M2) and Audio-Technica M series are compatible, so all you have to do is find headphones with the right replacement cable.
