I have an outdoor lamp with two bulbs. It has a light and a motion detector, so at night it lights up the passageway to my front door when someone walks through. I've had two bulbs for over a year and they worked great. I installed two of these headlights and they didn't work well. When they surfaced, they had a high frequency flicker. Often had trouble coming; without actually glowing until we were on our doorstep. DO NOT use these LED spots on light or motion detectors. If you check the Questions section, you'll see that the manufacturer says they don't work with motion/light sensors. However, this is the last entry with answers to the question so it won't appear unless you click more answers and I'm not sure if it was there when I bought my lamps. These headlights are supposed to be "security" bulbs, but many security lights have a motion/light sensor. In any event, this defect MUST BE CLEARLY DESCRIBED IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF THE SAFETY LIGHT. I spent $19.
