This solved the external monitor issues on my Asus laptop

My external monitor was causing my Asus laptop to lock up with a blue screen error daily. Investigation has determined that the error code is due to the monitor not responding before the timeout. Software changes (driver updates, etc.) didn't solve the problem, so I decided to investigate the docking station and settled on this plug-in product. It has USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and USB 3 ports, as well as HDMI ports. I connected it to a USB 3.0 port on my laptop and connected an external monitor to the docking station via the HDMI port. Laptop crashes disappeared immediately. So this product solved my problem and I am very happy with it. Please note that this is not the same docking station that you saw in offices a few years ago. with a special connector on the base of the PC and a kind of stand in which the PC is placed. The upright body is smaller than a paperback, with various types of openings located on the thin pages, front and back (spine and long page edges, to continue the book analogy). An important difference from older cradle docks is that this device cannot power a laptop or charge a laptop battery. Also, it's not powered by a laptop, so it needs to be plugged in separately. In addition to the external monitor, I have an external webcam on this docking station, a headset and a scanner connected. Everything works great and they worked the same as if I plugged them directly into the PC. with different types of connectors on the front and back thin pages (spine and long page edges, to continue the book analogy).
