Review on πŸ“± Spigen Tough Armor iPad 9.7 Case for iPad 5th/6th Generation (2017/2018) - Black by James Dominick

Good case, but there are some minor things. - updated

Beautiful case. It seems the study is probably solid. Light and thin but offers moderate protection. My minor concerns are that it could probably provide better protection with just a slight increase in weight and thickness. Some of the edges (top and bottom) are a bit "sharp", they won't cut you, but sometimes it feels like they can. Wear and tear will likely reduce this, and definitely not enough for me to consider returning or downgrading below 4. My big problem are the buttons. They work well and are easy enough to squeeze, but their position on the beveled edge on the back makes them less comfortable to use than on a blank iPad or previous case (another brand I switched because it was too thick and was hard, besides). was pretty worn out after over 2 years of use). The buttons take some getting used to. Update 14th February 2021: Upon further investigation, it appears that the "rough" edges on the top and bottom are likely TPU mold marks that were not sanded properly. I popped a fine sanding head into my rotary tool (aka a Dremel) and spent a few minutes (at low speed) sanding these little combs. The case is now noticeably more comfortable in the hand. A quick and easy fix and perhaps not a common problem as such traces of mold are usually removed before leaving the factory. I don't know if this is a general problem or if the minutes are just skipping. The power button is a little trick that makes taking screenshots a bit more difficult. There are no complaints about the volume buttons, only the power button.
