REALLY GOOD AND USEFUL

I bought this unit back in mid-November. My idea was to have a base for my smartphone and have 3 USB ports for easy access as my computer only has USB ports on the back. In my configuration, I connected a USB-C cable to charge a rechargeable mouse I have and to connect a cell phone (not for charging), a USB lamp and a USB dongle for a wireless keyboard. I've also used it for trouble-free USB 3.0 memory card reading and a low consumption SSD OTG drive. Design: It does its job very well. I have a Hawei Mate 20X, a huge smartphone with a screen of over 7.1 inches that fits perfectly on the base. Don't move, don't feel weird. If I put some foam on the part of the base that the phone sits on, as the front support bar is a bit high and makes it difficult to use the phone's virtual buttons. But by giving it a bit of height it was perfect. When used with a phone in a thick case or a tablet, they snap perfectly into place and provide a good viewing angle. Connectivity: Works well with low-power USB 2.0 and 3.0 devices. I'm talking about keyboard or mouse ports, printers, a USB lamp, a communication cable. An external power source is used to charge or operate devices with increased power consumption. Please note that all power comes from 1 USB port, which in turn must power the device components. I've used memory cards with no issues and an OTG SSD with no issues. But if I've had trouble connecting an external USB drive, and I'm sure it's because the required power wasn't enough. And forget about wanting to use it with a camera as it won't work without an external source. Cable: The cable is short which is better in this case as the device is made to stand next to the PC and have no cable when transporting it. At least I like its length as I can place it anywhere on my desk without worrying about where to hide the extra cord. SD ports I've only used it for a mobile SD card and I read and write to it with no problems.

Pros
  • USB PORT EXPANSION AND PROTECTION: The USB 3.0 hub helps to expand the PC's USB port from 1 to 3, strongly protects the USB port from frequent plugging and unplugging. Hands-free Enjoyment: Thanks to the stand design, you can put your phone/tablet on it to watch movies or news, completely freeing your hands.
