If you haven't tried this I highly recommend it. I got this because I'm very shy when my shoes start to smell and I can't wash a lot of my shoes. Although I find the smell comparable to a mixture of old, lingering cigarette smoke and the smell of new rubber boots, it doesn't particularly bother me. I didn't like the smell at first, but now I find it much better than smelly shoes! I spray the insides of my shoes as needed (sometimes daily, sometimes less) when I get home. I can definitely smell the difference. I like to take it with me when I travel. It was great when I had to take my shoes off at the airport as I didn't have to worry about smelly shoes in front of a bunch of strangers. I also like to use it on camping trips because it keeps your shoes from smelling bad when you can't shower daily and it keeps your tent from filling up with the smell of dirty shoes and suffocating you! It would be great to carry around in your gym bag. My original bottle that I bought at the pharmacy ran out and I was panicking so I searched the internet and found it here. It seemed to me that it took quite a long time (I think at least 6 months, but probably longer). I don't feel like I ever want to go back to my life before experiencing Shoe Pourri (and no, that's not an exaggeration). ). The only downside I can think of is that it can leave a slight oily residue in your shoes over time, but since nobody looks at the inside of my shoes, this isn't a problem for me. I recommend you at least try!
