This solved my smelly closet problem. My husband is careful enough to let his newly worn shoes out of the closet to "air out" them, but it wasn't enough to get rid of the smell in our shared apartment. A drop of Shoe-Pourri per shoe eliminates this odor immediately. I LOVE this product and will buy it again.

This made my shoes smell sour and like vinegar. I think it's best to use shoe powder to dry them and get rid of the smell rather than a spray which just makes the shoes damp and smells like vinegar. I don't like writing bad reviews (or reviews in general) but this product, along with another spray I bought, was a waste of money and made my shoes smell so bad I couldn't take them off in front of others. I used this product once and then threw it away.

I highly recommend this product. It really works and works well. Nice scent that doesn't overpower the scent. Now I spray my shoes when I take them off during the day. I even spray my slippers after I take them off in the morning. I don't suffer from bad foot odor, but I wanted something that would naturally refresh my shoes and eliminate bad shoe odor. This is a product that works! This is a clean product that I feel safe using. Revain is the cheapest store I've found for this product.

I personally love the smell of the spray itself whilst my wife absolutely hates it. It worked for about a day to keep my work shoes smelling nice, and then a few days later I noticed an odd smell when I was squatting or leaning over at work. I got home, took off my shoes, and the strongest smell of cat urine I've ever inhaled hit me. I haven't sprayed my shoes in about 3 weeks and the cat urine smell hasn't gone away so I had to make a random blend of my own essential oils to cover it up.

Okay I won't give too much information but my feet sweat so much that my shoes almost smell sour at the end of the day. I've tried all kinds of sprays and powders with little success. This stuff is amazing! I just spray it on my shoes every few days, let it dry overnight, done! Like the smell of cedar. Not overly overwhelming. I read somewhere that you can't wear the same pair of shoes 2 days in a row - it needs airing - so I always follow that and it helps too. I will try poo-pourri next time!

This is actually an odor masking spray only, not an odor elimination spray. The main ingredient is eucalyptus oil, which has a very strong menthol odor. It is extremely durable once applied to shoes. After spraying the shoes and walking around in them all day, I found that I didn't care much about the smell and it took several washes in the washing machine and a baking soda treatment to remove the shoepourri smell. Additionally, this product didn't really eliminate the smell of my smelly shoes,

If you haven't tried this I highly recommend it. I got this because I'm very shy when my shoes start to smell and I can't wash a lot of my shoes. Although I find the smell comparable to a mixture of old, lingering cigarette smoke and the smell of new rubber boots, it doesn't particularly bother me.
