Will not stay in system pinhole

I recently bought a Galaxy Style New 3DS for my daughter for $80. The thing is perfect, except that it didn't come with a stylus. I thought it's okay, I'll go to Revane and buy her something cheap. This product is marked "For NEW 3DS". I'm assuming this will work with a touchscreen, but they definitely will NOT fit the 3DS stylus hole in the system. If you tip it over, it will fall out and not sit flush in the system.
