I think I didn't understand the description. I expected a long application. In fact, these are two mirrored side panels and a center panel made up of larger individual flowers. I don't mind as it actually makes the app more versatile in terms of size. I sew, not glue. I don't trust adhesives for durability. I bought the appliquรฉ to use as part of the bodice of a suit based on an Alphonse Mucha Art Nouveau piece. This is a beautiful applique that will look great on a suit like this.
