But great for cutting.

I bought 2 of these for my grandkids. We are happy with the cut. However, the transparent lid, which is designed to record the baby's name, doesn't stay in place. When brought into the closed position, it swings into the open position the first time the scissors are used and remains open - for on the go. We will try to permanently glue this part in the closed position without permanently gluing the scissors closed.
