As the owner of real SteadiCams, I have to say that I really like this device. My SteadiCam is rated for up to 30 pounds. However, with gimbals, DSLRs, and smartphones, the payload is around 5 pounds when fully loaded with extras like lights, mics, AV transmitters, etc. My SteadiCam is far too powerful. This device is like owning two SteadiCams in one. I can handle current payloads. I can even fly it with my mini dart (like the Tango). Considering my SteadiCam cost over $14,000, that's a $375 deal with free shipping and I got it in two days. Materials - well-made aluminum and plastic parts. Aside from the same modifications I made to my SteadiCam vest, this unit works right out of the box. It also comes with adapter sleeves to accommodate different slides. I actually install my slide with my SteadiCam. When you're on a baguette. Yes, I can only recommend it. I process a specially designed set. I'll post a photo when I'm done.
