I bought the same rug in 2017 from the same company. It was good quality at the time and the only reason I bought another one was because it was very dirty and said do not wash. Well the one I just bought in 2021 is terrible quality. For example much much thinner weak magnets that don't work and basically a piece of crap and a good example of the quality dropping drastically how the product can go from one order to the next. Of course there is a 5 year gap, but that doesn't even begin to explain how bad this product has gone. So I washed the 5 year old model in the washing machine because the heat protection wasn't that important to me, it washes well and looks like new. It's true that I rarely leave a review on a bad product, but this one deserves a bad review and doesn't even deserve a star. Don't waste money
