🧲 Magnetic-Heat Resistant Ironing Blanket: Evelots 33 Inch Long Travel Mat Review

I wanted something that looked decent to cover my dryer and protect it from scratches or damage. It's not as long as I thought it would be (didn't look at the picture very closely), but it covers the top and about 3 inches on the sides. Magnets keep it in place.

Bought two of these blankets to protect the top of my washer and dryer. I wish they were a little longer on the sides but the magnets keep them in place. I don't really plan on using these covers for ironing clothes so I don't know how well they work for that purpose. But I highly recommend them if you want to protect your washer/dryer.

This is a heat resistant blanket/cover with magnets on the sides. I thought it was a little heavier/thicker than it is. It was easy to attach to the dryer and can be used as an alternative to an ironing board. I wish I had a little more space in my laundry room as my dryer and washing machine are squashed quite tightly together. I think it would be more comfortable in a bigger room.

I bought the same rug in 2017 from the same company. It was good quality at the time and the only reason I bought another one was because it was very dirty and said do not wash. Well the one I just bought in 2021 is terrible quality. I'm a bit disappointed with this product. The magnets are very weak. The magnet can be completely removed with just a light hand movement. In the product image, the mat is fully attached to the device. The reality is the rug is barely attached to my dryer, the magnets are so weak. Due to the creases (since the product was taken out of the box) the product has partially come off the surface of my dryer and I just ironed it so I would expect the product to be flat once ironed. Very good product! I'll admit I was expecting something completely magnetic, bulky and heavy, but it's actually lighter and has smaller magnets on the ends. I wasn't sure but when I put it on a metal surface it worked great! The magnets are strong. I think most people use it in the washer or dryer, but mine sits on a metal tool cart in my sewing shop. It's better for me as it sits lower to the floor than most other ironing boards I've looked at. I'm quite short so this is exactly what I needed.
