Our Samsung dryer gets very hot on the right side where the heating element is located. This worried us because we have a dryer right next to the wall and we were worried it might start a fire. We used this magnetic heat resistant mat on this right side of the dryer to create a heat protection barrier against the wall. We used this magnetic heat resistant mat on the right side of the dryer to create a heat barrier against the wall. It does an excellent job of absorbing the heat from the dryer and preventing the wall from heating up.
