not the best choice

I got this for my fiance for Christmas who loves sudoku and video games so thought it would be a brilliant combination. He was excited but disappointed with how difficult it was to play. He can't always tell where the cursor is on the board, and if he puts it down for a minute he can't see where he left off. Then when he played in the semi-darkness when we were on the train, he didn't see anything either (backlighting would be a good feature). Only this model doesn't seem very intuitive: he always wants to press delete to change the number, but that deletes the game. everything shows that 2 million riddles sound great. Unless it's too strenuous to play!
