It looks like it was made for my counter. Complements the splash guard and goes perfectly with the toaster like they were friends! But seriously, I love this simple addition to the kitchen! Now I have free space in the drawers where I can separate the knives from everything else. This greatly improves security. And being so close to the stove is great for getting what I might need! When the water starts to boil over the pot, BOOM! Wooden spoon on top to save me a big mess to clean up later. I thought this would be a great place to keep my pliers. Much closer to the fryer when I need a hand to grab something hot! It's the little things in life!
