This is a very simple machine that works simply and is virtually indestructible. No extra small pieces to break off, just one solid piece. I keep mine in my back seat bag and just take them out and put them on when needed. I spend a lot of time in the car on side jobs like GrubHub, Doordash, and Lyft. So it's very convenient for me to be comfortable and productive during downtime. I can eat my lunch off it, put my laptop on it or make lists/journals and use it as a safe place for pen and paper. It has two sides. One with a cup holder and one with a completely flat surface and pen holder (see photo). When it gets dirty I just wipe it down with disposable wipes that I keep in the glove compartment. I've used it effectively on an SUV and sedan where appropriate.
