After putting the iron back on the base to charge, it took less than 15 seconds to restore the original temperature and be ready to go again at all temperatures. So you can easily iron a garment, place the iron on the base, adapt the garment to the new piece and continue ironing at a comfortable pace without much delay. However, if you iron differently, simply attach the charging station to the iron and you can iron non-stop without heat loss. Personally, I have used my cordless iron more often. If you're looking for a cordless iron but aren't sure if it's right for you, try the Sunbeam cordless/corded iron. It's a little more expensive than a regular iron, but it's worth every penny more. It's lightweight, easy to use, well made, easy to fill, easy to clean, does its job perfectly and you can't beat the versatility of using it cordless, plugged in, or even as an upright steamer.
