Watch some YT videos and learn how, some printers are "smarter" than others and you'll have to fight a little to get the printer to accept the "non-original -cartridge" to bypass. Ink works well most of the time and definitely saves money after you fix a few kinks - I use it to fuel my printer and a relative's printer. Even if you're just refilling the one cartridge you paid for the kit, it's definitely worth the extra work. I've found that it's best to refill the cartridges, put clear tape over the holes and bottom, and leave them in a plastic bag until ready to use. I have to touch the bottom with some warm water to clean the print holes on the bottom of the cartridge and wipe them with a paper towel, that's extra work sometimes, but then again. Definitely better than paying $25 for a cartridge. I refilled 4 cartridges and not even 1/2 with a bottle.
