I don't think so This bracelet is made of real leather. I bought this to replace a fabric strap that was too long to use as a shoulder bag on a leather backpack style handbag. Although this strap is an improvement over the old strap which was too long, the feel and look are not what I expected. I have to be careful that the strap isn't too tight around my neck as the edges are quite sharp which is uncomfortable. If I could find a real leather strap for a lot of money I would buy it, but most of the straps I've noticed were also made of synthetic leather, which I tried to avoid. I've bought cheap wallets with this type of strap in the past, but I've gotten to the point where I'd rather pay more for better quality. Not only is the tape sharp on the edges, but it is permanently creased in all places where it has been folded. Another issue I had with this strap is the size of the hooks. I first tried attaching the strap hook to the metal rings on my purse and quickly found that it wasn't wide enough to bypass the thicker ring. Luckily I found that the rings on my purse have holes, so I can easily remove the old belt without damaging it. Furthermore, I was able to put the closed hooks on the open rings with no problem. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be able to use this strap at all. At least I can use the belt. Everyone who buys this strap should remember this. The rings on my purse are about 8-10mm thick which is too big for the size of the hook hole but not too big to fit a closed hook over the purse ring where it opens. Thank goodness the rings on my purse have holes otherwise the strap would have had to be sent back.
