Review on Rustic Town Vintage Crossbody Messenger by Michael Hemmig

I am so sad to give such a bad review for this product. I know Rustic Town from another company they work with and I love what Rustic Town stands for and I love the quality of the bags I've gotten from them in the past. I really wanted a work laptop bag that was of this quality as I was aware of the same high ethics that go into making a bag. I personally know quite a few people who have received a bag of "goat". "Smell" and they said it had weathered over time and worked great so I wasn't worried if my bag had a bad smell. I chose not to return it as the smell will dissipate over time. It it's been almost 3 months and the bag still smells like the goat pen. It stinks in every room it's in. The smell hasn't gone away at all and I wish I could bring it back if I had the chance. Maybe you're lucky and get a bag that doesn't smell bad but you are welcome to return within 30 days and try again or you might get stuck with it.I was going to say go ahead and order one and test my chances but I can't say more. I contacted the company to see if anything could be done but they told me it was just a normal "earthy" smell that would get better with time. I can't get this bag to use. Smells disgusting. If I wear it anywhere, people will sniff the air looking for someone who stepped on dog shit. I am so disappointed in this product as well as the company and their terrible customer service. I will never buy a Rustic Town item again.
