Great for some products

I would say the most important thing to know about these handy little bags is that they are great for some products but far from ideal for others. The bags are breathable making them ideal for storing things like fresh vegetables which are best kept in an unsealed container (they give off gases as they decompose); However, things like cheese will start to harden after a few days. If you are considering this product then you (like me) probably hate the waste associated with plastic. But there are times when a package is the most useful container. This product offers the convenience of a zippered bag without the guilt of creating more plastic waste. Like any other job, food storage is all about finding the right tool for everyone. Work. While these bags may not be useful for all products, they are certainly a useful tool in your food storage toolbox. : Mason Jars (I'm sure many of you already do this, but I didn't see all the ways to use mason jars until I started browsing sustainable lifestyle blogs, so I thought I'd share the tip with anyone who did like it find it) helpful ). Next time you're rinsing out a jar of pickles, spaghetti sauce, grape jelly, etc., hold onto it instead of throwing it in the trash. Mason jars are amazingly practical, they come in all shapes and sizes and have endless uses. Here are some things you can store: refrigerated foods (soup/sauce leftovers), dry/non-perishable foods (I use jars to store flour, sugar, coffee, tea, dried beans, pasta, etc.), stationery (staples ). , paper clips, rubber bands), toiletries (cotton balls, cotton swabs), small jars are great for organizing the workbench (nails, screws, bolts, washers). I've also used them as cute tea/lemonade glasses. I don't know why, but I really like taking things that are meant for the trash can and finding new uses for them.
