I bought one of these a while back and haven't had any luck with a good signal. Until I read some great reviews about one of them. More is not necessarily better. If you live in the city, you don't need an amplifier. You only need an amp if you live 50 miles from the nearest tower. The amplifier will actually interfere with the TV signal if you live in the city. When I unplugged the amp, my TV signal was crystal clear. Also, you should check out other channels from time to time as it only takes a few minutes.
