Very cold and effective, not uncomfortable to use
They are very cold and stay cold after use, making them very comfortable to use multiple times a day. They are very useful because they solve the awkward problem of icing multiple parts of your feet and do it all at once instead of moving an ice pack around. I wear socks under mine because otherwise they're too cold for me. Has helped a lot with my heel/arch pain.
